Right now for the mor tecnical side of things. My car is a 2.6v6 and has just clocked over 200k :(
Im looking to do a rebuild soon and am struggling to find all the parts I require. Does anyone know a good supplier for all the bits needed for a rebuild?
Also I need a new S2/V6 front bumper so if anyone knows where i could get one let me know.
As it looks like ill be taking the engine out i was thinking of doing some mods but again cant find much online to help me so any info would be great!

Looks good, which lowering kit did you use? I have FK Auto setup but fronts still seem bit high to me, wondering if they have given me correct spring weights?

Dobbo that car looks just spot on.
The 18" RS4 rims are exactly what I want on my 2.6.
1.do you remember the et and width etc
2.what size tyres are you using
3.what sort of changes if any ,are there in the ride with this size
4 where did you get them
5 how much did the rims/tyres cost
6.did you feel that lowering was essential
I know thats a lot of question and no answers to your questions but I have been dreaming up that look for mine and now I've finished spending for the mot I will be looking to start altering

Hi guys,
First, I have only put springs on for the time being due to being on a budget. They are PI springs which I know are cheap but have done the job for now. They have lowered it around 40mm front and rear.
The wheels havent seemed to make to much difference in ride quality but its hard to say as it was lowered at the same time. I havent had to make any changes to the car to fit them either.
the tyres are 225/40/18 but dont know the width of the rims im afraid.
I dont know where you could get them from as I rang a shop on ebay that were selling 5 stud versions on the off chance they had or knew where I could get 4 studs. The guy said he thought they may have some and sure enough a day later he called back and said they did. These were the last set they had and apparently they dont make them anymore so I was very lucky to get them.
They cost £475 including tyres fitted and balanced.
My advice is keep searching online and call as many people as you can. Ive seen the odd set on ebay and pistonheads before.
Hope this helps although I havent been much help. lol

Your wheels look okay, maybe painted the gun metal grey or black though. car needs lowereing so thw wheels sit nicely in the arches. she looks nice and tidy.

Thanks, you are the third person to suggest gun metal grey but I'm not sure, my wheels are scabby ,chipped and bubbly but I only usually photo the good side, she is really clean and a cracking drive for 145,000 miles and I like driving her more than the red cabby.
Just got to find me some nice RS4 or if possible S4 Avus replicas
