Well if you have an RCD 310 and you don't have the code then its probably stolen, bad boy. :zx11:

I bought it on online auction but I don't have contact with seller anymore :(

It's probably from Moes car.
I suggest you get onto Paypal and claim the unit doesn't work and the seller has disappeared, then you *might* get some money back.
What are you upgrading from? and which car are you putting it in?

As above, why not just file a dispute saying the seller didn't include the radio code. You smell fishy to me.

Fit the unit to your car and ask the local dealer or another local VW guru with VAGCom to code the unit to your car ?

On my mk 5 i had to change radio (kids putting money in cd slot!) and got a second hand one.
I believe if you have the chassis number of your car and give it to your local vw dealer they will give you a 4 digit code to 'make them talk'. They may however ask for the chassis number the radio came out of before they release the code (as they did with me!). Fortunately i had this.

I'm with Fox Trot Oscar on this one - what makes you so sure he's got a car ?
