It will be time for the A6 2.7T to go in the next few months. Always planned to keep it 3 years and that time is coming.

However, I can't make up my mind what to get next.

I think I should go diesel for the first time given fuel costs. Not sure I need a car as big as the A6. Thinking maybe A4 or A3 and probably want to stay with an automatic.

Cruise control would also be good. Do A3's have cruise as an option?

Confused :1zhelp:

what's your annual mileage?

How much of that is motorway?

I'd recommend only a downsize as far as the A4, you'll miss the room if you go as far as an A3 I fear.

Around 20k per year and 85% of it motorway pounding up and down the full length of the M11 between London and Cambridge!

I reckon 20k a year is probably worth going diesel.

Certainly worth getting rid of the 2.7T it's costing me £25 a day to commute now :-(

Just under a week for me too, but thats a lot of driving a traffic - quite expensive with current fuel prices.

I miss it when it used to cost me less than 20 quid a week :(
