Cleaning Headlining

Hi

If someone can help what is the best way to clean a Passat headlining,
just normal dustiness and light marks.Car not been smoked in if that helps.

I use aerosol brake cleaner for localised marks but test a small area first.

I have a orangey brick coloured mark (5 pence size) on my headlining.

will a damp cloth do or is something more industrial needed.

the previous owner of the car was a builder so it was filthy when i got it even after audi had 'cleaned' it.

I also have black marks on the upper pillar either side of the tailgate.

Aerosol brake cleaner is amazing at getting marks out, just try a test area first.
