Does anybody know if the pedals are the same in the MK6 as the MK5? I want to get the VW pedals but they are expensive at £170!!

Next question... I have found the genuine pedals for sale on eBay... I know the accelerator pedal is a complete replacement - Does anyone know if this is a simple change? I assume that the pedal is screwed down and there will be a cabvle plugged in to it somewhere?
Anyone have any ideas?
