Why didn't they consult JTW - he has experience of this using real animals, although the animal avoidance system seems to have failed totally on that occasion.

And no, the Mk 1 animal avoidance system failed completely due to speed and the country track I was on... Hopefully the hare died to at least offset my feelings about how it was damaged :)

And no, it's not fixed yet as I've not got around to it yet - it's on my list of "things that cost money but aren't desperately important to deal with"...
