Got cam belt and water pump changed today got to say ive noticed the difference already massivley. first of all its running smooth as hell used to make a really horrible clicking sort of noise from the engine its gone now.
he showed me my used water pump half of it had melted away so he said i needed to change that badly, however he did say i had some life left in the cam belt but said i did the right thing just getting it done.
so that was all good. got both bushes replaced, the worst one i have noticed the difference but it still squeaks, is there any chance the squeak could be from anything else such as springs or anything like that?
All in all i got the cam belt, water pump, 2 rear bushes, replaced temp sensor, reverse lights were out so got them replaced and also fixed my rear washer. all this for £440.
So got all issues sorted engine wise....all i need to do now is sort out the ashtray(it gets stuck and dosent always pop out)the ciggarete lighter is stuck, and also the drink holder could dp with being taken of and a good clean this also gets stuck think because before i had it some sticky or fizzy drink had been spilt on it.....anyone know anywhere good to go for these things?
