You'll be lucky to find a DVD of the process! Seek out Elsawin, the VAG workshop manual - that will tell you what you need to know.

It's not a DVD and I'm not sure if it will be exactly what you want but you might like to try this link, hopefully it will be helpful :)

I would not even try attempting replacing the belts on a v6 tdi WITHOUT the corect locking tools as you can really mess-up the engine. Also you need quite a lot of tools to work on and its very easy to overlook things. On top of that the injector pump needs setting-up dinamically with Vag-com diagnostic and needs to be a curent release version as the older ones dont have the v6 tdi plug-in so cheapo ebay leads wont work... All in all a quite difficult job for the diy mechanic, thats why it costs so much in dealers... You must replace the thermostat, water pump and vibration damper( the damper at least every 2nd cambelt job) wich really bump-up the price. Where abouts are you in the country ? I used to offer cambelts replacement for forum members at very good rates...please pm me for details ;)!
