B3 80/90 exterior trim query.

My long-serving '87 1.8 80E has been getting a bit long in the tooth, and today I've brought home an '89 90, great runner but a bit tatty outside.

I'd like to swap the side trims for the minty ones from the 80, anyone know how they are fixed on? Mr Haynes has been no help on this subject.

Argh!

Just realised they are different. The ones on the 80 don't have the chrome strip, plus there is another set on the 90 at the bottom of the doors.

Ah well, off to the scrappy if it ever stops raining to try to find a set that aren't curly.
