Doors seem to have dropped a little.

Both front doors on my a3 seem to have dropped.Probably due to heavy doors on cheap hinges i quess.
Its there a way to cure it?
Audi do sell new top hinges but it looks like a wing off job to do.Can you not just change the pins??????

Yes they are done. You need to have them lifted, literally using power. All good now

Without soundin like a div, slacken the bolts off lift then tighten said bolts?

No leave the bolts. You seriously have to bend em up. Mine was done at audi

Hey Guys..
Glad to hear that it can be manually done, passenger side needs doing. But weirdly my drivers door was working fine, then I added a little WD40 (Can't help but spray every moving bloody part when I start with that stuff).

Since adding it to the lock my door bounces back and only catches on the safety lock. There is a knack at pushing the door at a perfect rate.. but I look like a knob' ed gently bowling my door closed. Any suggestions? I have already tried to clean up excess lube with newspaper but still hapening.

I'm assuming this is quite brutal. I've noticed that my driver's door has dropped too.

I've heard that people have used a car jack to push the door back up but i don't like the sound of it to be honest.

Has anyone actually just slackened off the bolts on the hinge and realigned the door?
