Cabriolet Steering Column

Hi,

I've just noticed that i seem to have some play in the steering column on my 2.6 cabriolet. It seems like the steering wheel is loose when you pull the wheel up and down. I've checked the wheel and thats fine. I've removed the tray under the column to check it and it feels like there is play in the top universal joint where it passes through a cast bracket. Is there a simple fix, any ideas would be great.

Problem now sorted. The bearing in the column had gone so a decent second hand one from a later car was fitted. Its nice to be driving again without feeling as if the steering wheel was going to come off!
