Is there anyone near-ish to Luton?
I have fitted an RNS-E & Bluetooth to my 2005 A4 avant, all works OK but just need the car coded so it all works 100% (dash display etc).
Happy to provide beer/wine/curry tokens........
Thank you in advance
Matt

I have a problem at the moment, since updating satnav software in my Skoda Superb, I have lost DIS information for Navigation and music tracks being played. - Do you think you might be able to help? - I live in St Neots, so not to far away.

Hi David,
You pm'd me about the problem with your Superb, but as my post count is less than 10 I wasn't able to reply. Fortunately I found you'd posted your question here, so here's my reply. Probably best to create a new thread for your issue though, and provide the info I've suggested as then other VAG-Com users may be able to help you with other suggestions.
This sounds like a bit of a tricky issue! What version of firmware did you have, and what version have you now installed?
I googled for some info to help and came across this post over on BriSkoda.net, specifically post #18:
http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/122284-columbus-sat-nav-maps/
The firmware version 1100 is not for use in the columbus fitted to the Superb II, if you try and install it at best it will give an error and spit the disk out and at worst will leave you with a door stop. As pointed out by Jonathan most of these updates are already incorporated into the Superb columbus. The 1100 firmware version is intended for the columbus version "A" as fitted into the pre facelifted Octavia which currently has none of these features.
I'm happy to plug my VAG-COM cable into your car and pull off any fault codes there may be, but if the firmware you've installed is not compatible with the SatNav unit then I think you'll be very lucky to get things working just by exploring settings. Worse case scenario for this would be that the side-effects get worse!
Do you have the original firmware to go back to?
Regards,
Charles
