Headlights coming on

When I unlock car with key fob at night headlights come on as well as interior lights.

When I unlock car with key fob at night headlights come on as well as interior lights.

yes it's normal. that's a feature called "follow-me-home-lights" or something like that. the idea is to illuminate your path. so if you're in a car park for instance, as soon as you unlock the car, the headlights will illuminate your path to the car and make it easier.

you can disable that through software such as vag-com if it bothers you too much.
