View Full Version : Mk5 07 on Halfords Mats

For info I took a chance and bought the 'Halfords Fully Tailored Car Mat Set VW Golf 5 07 Onwards set of 4' with round holes today and they fit the MK6 perfectly. They seem to be of a reasonable quality ... time will tell I guess.

£29.99 a set, I was going to buy from fleabay but there's nothing like handling the goods ;)

Thanks for this info I need to get some mats for my golf been 6 months and still not get a set, however the carpet of the MK6 is very impressive in those 6 months no stains or damage. Good Quality carpet I have to say.

I bought a full set of rubber mats from Halfords. I already have a spare set of original floor mats, which I had to ask for when I picked up the car. ;)

Not really it was the crap sales girl. When I ordered my GTD I asked if it came with floor mats she said no so I ordered the basic protection pack because I wanted mud flaps anyway. A few day later VW mailed me the brochure and it said comes with full floor mats so I've now got a spare set which I had to ask for when I picked up the car.

There are plenty of mk6 mats on fleabay.;)

Yeh I will try to buy some after I get back from holiday in a couple of weeks time at the moment me still got that white paper cover that was left on the carpet from when I picked it up new :D
