hi there have an audi a3 2001 1.6
i think the car is slightly lacking in performance it is using more fuel than it should do its idling between about 550 and 600 which is too low and it is running very rich. there are no fault codes stored which cud say it is a mechanical problem but the system is constantly running in open loop. the rear oxygen sensor is working fine the first oxygen sensor shows it running very rich i think it is on about 1v no matter how much u rev the car it doesnt look as if its responded how it should, it only moves slightly. iv had various parts replaced including rear oxygen sensor , 2 different front oxygen sensors and tried 2 different mass air meters. a diagnostics expert is now out of ideas and with nothin to go on its lookin like a trip to the dealers.
any help advice or any ideas would be appreciated thanks
