Are A4 2.0TDI's as bad as Passat 2.0TDI's?

Hi Folks, hoping somebody can assist me. I intend buying an 05 or 06 A4 2.0 TDI Avant, preferably S-Line model with 80-90k miles, but am concerned that I may have the same turbo/engine related problems that the 2.0 TDI Passat seems to suffer.

I had an 03 A4 TDI Avant 130 Sport which was a fantastic car, but sold it last summer (after 3years and 60k) when it hit 140k miles. I made a huge mistake and bought an 06 Passat 2.0 TDI estate. This blew a Turbo and after spending a small fortune I sold it. From reading other forum members stories it appeared I wasnt alone..

I now want to go back to Audi and really would like a 2.0 TDI A4 Avant, but dont want the Passat problems. Any views on this or things I should look out for, particular engine codes etc.

from what ive seen/done
if they have been on extended servicing they seem to have more engine faults ie turbos etc
check to see if the one you buy is on fixed/10000ml servicing
the ones i look after with big miles have been on fixed servicing and owners have had no problems they also let the cars cool down after running to cool the oil around turbo as you should
