Hi All - my roof will not go all the way back, it just reaches its highest point then stops - the hatch is open and ready but nothing happens. I have seen other people asking the same question but never seem to get a clear answer ( if there is one ! ). There is no fluid in the wheel well or anything to suspect hydraulic failure so I'm presuming electrics ?
Any help greatly appreciated as the sun is shining ! :beerchug:

Hi, did you get this sorted? I have the same car with what may be the same issue, i release the handle and push the roof up to release tension then when i lift the switch nothing happens except warning lights flashing, oddly when i close back up and push the switch down the windows will go up?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Leon,
I think I have found out what my particular problem was, it's to do with the position of the boot lock. There are 3 possible positions on the boot lock, and I presume there is a sensor attached that enables or disables the roofs ability to work so as to prevent you from putting the roof down while the boot is open. I worked the lock a few times ( as it hardly gets used ) and then it all started working again. My roof used to start going back on its first stage, then it would release the locks on the storage compartment lid but go no further.
Sorry if that's a bit vague but that's how I fixed my fault, I hope you get sorted m8.
Scott

PS The windows always go back up automatically when the roof is closed so that part is fine.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/scottmaule/golcar.jpg

The answers are on the right lines. On mine the boot lock must be locked for the roof to work fuilly. If it is unlocked, what you are experiencing happens.
