Dip Stick Casing

Hi
I have a 99 A3, the casing that holds the dip stick has cracked and the top has broken away. Is it an easy thing to change or do I need to get a mechanic to do it?
Also roughly how long would it take a mechanic to replace it and how much does the new part cost (approx)

push fit but can be very tight
cant remember how much but last one i did was about £7-8 i think

cheers, do you think i need to have it up on a lift or can i get it from under the bonnet?

if its just the orange plastic part you should be able to do it on the floor
