A8 AMber engine warning light

I am getting a flickering engine warning light although this light is not mentioned in Owners Manual. Fault code suggested cruise control fault WOuld this cause lickering light. Cruise control now switched off at stalk but still get light HELP PLEASE:1zhelp:

Check your brake lghts, maybe have someone drive behind you to see if they are flickering.
