Guys,
after doing some reading on here it appears that a lot of people have had DMF issues with various engine models. Someone on here has mentioned that there has been a recall on 2ltr engines with regards to the DMF, can anyone confirm if that's true?
This is making me twitchy, it's like looking up on illness in the internet (big no, no I learnt from experience) I have had what can be best explained as a "judder" on my car since I've had it and just put it down to an engine mount or something similar! It does'nt do it all the time, but enough for me to get paranoid after reading some of the issues people on here have had.
My warranty is due to expire this month, should I go to the *********** and request this be looked into under warranty? has anyone had to do the same and what response do you expect I will receive? My car is coming upto 38K miles and has been serviced by VW and looked after very well by me, I don't fancy a bill for £1K for a clutch and flywheel after so few miles.
