Hi everyone,
I would like to start off by saying a MASSIVE thank-you to Ben at Shark Performance for remapping my car.

Date of Install: Monday 1st March 2010
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Car: Audi A4 B7 2.0 TDi SE 140 BHP - 6 Speed
Power Gain: +40 BHP (estimated)
Other Performance Modifications: 19" Audi RS6 (New style) Alloy Wheels & PI Sportpack lowering springs (30 - 40mm lowered)
I took my car into Shark Performance for a engine remap earlier this week and I am very very pleased with the outcome.

To start with I explained how I am not a very fast driver, I just like to get up to the speed limit as fast as I can and stick to the limits.
I Also wanted to be able to overtake quicker and safer on motorways.
I cover about 20k miles a year and work in Milton Keynes so have a long stretch of roundabouts on long national speed limit roads which means a lot of slowing down and speeding back up to 70 MPH every mile or so.

I was already impressed with the pulling power of my BLB engine compared to the PD engine I had in the Passat.
My first reaction on the test drive was "WOW", I am not new to remapping and I have to honestly say I was blown away and very impressed with the power and torque gains.
I was in the passenger seat with the biggest smile on my face the first time I felt the acceleration after the remap.

After feeling for a kid with a new toy I have noticed the following improvements:
Gain in Power
Gain in Torque
Less of a lumpy ride you get from a diesel
Smoother feeling when the engine is in idle
Better engine response even at lower speeds
A LOT LESS turbo lag
Hardly any flat spots
The only thing I had worries about was loosing too much MPG.
I can report that I was driving to London the other night and managed to get 48 MPG out of it driving heavy footed (normally I use to get 50 MPG so not much difference)
I then drove from Bedford to Dudley and after about 75 miles on the motorway my fuel needle had hardly moved and my range was still showing 660 miles left!

Overall I am very happy with Spark Performance and would recommend it to anyone, you dont have to be a speed freak to have a remap.
I found Ben very friendly and helpful and was keen to answer all the silly question that I had in a way in which I would be able to understand them.
Ben is very upfront, he tells you how it is and the truth and not just simply what you would want to hear.

Thanks Ben!
