Cruise Retrofit

Has anyone done it yet, I have heard you can get VW to do it for you, but what I'd like to know is this, is it simply a new stalk unit and a VAG-COM to tell it to work, or is it more complex than that?

Also, if anyone has done it, does it work as if it was factory fitted, or are there any glitches like delays etc?
