I've been meaning to mention these for ages. I tried stick-on roller type window blinds but the saloon B6 has wide awkwardly shaped rear passenger windows and the roller blinds hardly kept the sun out of my little boy's face at all.

I was about to get the windows tinted when I discovered these custom made blinds. A set of 4 cover the rear windows. (One for each of the rear windows and two that join together to fill the whole of the back screen.)

(I bought them through their ebay shop for a little bit less).

I got them last summer and they have been just great. They are mounted in minutes with little clips that snap on just under the window rubbers. The side window blinds are great as they cover all of the glass including the quaterlights. They don't intefere with the window operation so you can still let a bit of air into the back without affecting the shades.

From the outside it looks like I've had tints but I'll be able to transfer them to another Passat or sell them on when I change the car.

I'll post pictures as soon as I get the car back from the body shop (from it's post snow straightening session!)

I have to agree, I had a set of these on my old Subaru Impreza Wagon for years and was very very happy with them, so I ordered a set online before picking up my new car.

The look great and cover the whole window, better than window tints as you can remove them easily too!

Oops, I totally forgot I was going to post these pictures.

Hope the quality is good enough as I only took them with my mobile phone.

A great thing about these blinds is that you can still use the windows whilst they are in place.

I do find they restrict rear view when reversing at night as my B6 doesn't have a very good reversing light. Still, I've had them in place for nearly a year now and have avoided bumping into anything so far!
