Mk3 Golf antenna cable

Hi, ive just come to put a new head unit in my mk3 golf gti and someone has butcherd the antenna cable so it no longer fits:zx11:

Are there any joins in the cable or do I have to replace it all the way to the antenna?

Any help apreciated.

Thanks for your reply. On further investigation there is a join in the cable behind the glove box so all I need is the short bit. At least I dont have to take the long bit out..
