Alloy wheels

Hi everyone,
what size wheels suits mk4 golf best, i heard 18" have poor a ride and wreck's rubbers? but i do fancy some aristo mk4 r32 18" wheels, also do i need to genuine wheels or will good copies be ok? can anyone recommend a supplier? cheers all

hi there, ive put 18s on mine with no problem, but you will get more road nise with them, looks nice, and ive also lowered mine by 35mm,

what wheels did you get? have you got any photo's?i was was thinking of getting some wheels from rochford tyres, but not sure if they any good,

well, i bought mine from ebay, cost me something like £400-450 with tyres, Ive put on the RS8 AUDI REPLICA WHEELS, I haven't got photos as such, but if i get a chance ill get the camera out tomorrow

Yeah ive just changed my wheels from the standard 16's to some 18 inch new rs4 style wheels with toyo tyres, i was pleasantlly surprised about the ride .... i thought the bumps and holes would be far worse than they are. go for it fit some 18's the ride is still fine. ive just fitted koni street suspension kit all round to lower 35 mm also, its all good. :D
