Hi i've just joined this forum. Basically i bought an A3 1.8T yesterday drove it bk 250 miles to my home town it was running fine. Once in town i gave it a lil to see wat it was made of, was about to change from 3rd to 4th gear and i hear a little pop and the car just cut out.
When i try and start it it starts but doesn't stay running. The revs go up and down a little then the car cuts out. If i try keep the revs up it stays up but then as soon as i try and move it the car cuts out again.
The engine has been modified quite abit here is some of the bits that have been done, ive just copied this info off the advert for it. Also i think it has a forge intercooler thought i would mention that incase that is causing the problem.

PLEASE NOTE AT THE MOMENT IT HAS ONLY A GENERIC STAGE 3 REMAP AND NOT RUNNING ITS FULL POTENTIAL, SO ONCE A CUSTOM MAP GOES ON IT WILL BE CAPABLE OF AROUND 340 BHP AND WELL OVER 310 lb/ft.
