Hi there, have noticed nearly all 4 of mine are discoloured and generally ruin the look of a decent car. Just an idea would VW pay for replacements?
Also any ideas of cost to replace? My wheels are 17" 10 spoke sport wheels if that helps?

I've heard of some replacing if still under warranty though they don't really have to.
I could do with replacing mine also so interested in cost.

Bigstuff - why don't VW have to replace them?
Most of those on here who have had the same problem have had theirs replaced.
Someone nicked one of mine, cost me 7€ if my memory serves me.

The standard push in plastic center caps are roughly £6.00 each from a dealer.

Cause i said so:D
Could be argued it's fair wear and tear i guess. Mines are coming on 5 years old so next time i'm replacing tyres i get some new ones i think. :p

A word of warning. VW recalled these the newer type have additional numbers/letters at the end hence such a cheap price. You would pay around £6 a wheel. There a couple of sellers on ebay that are vw dealers and the above are a no no due the issues found on are cars.
