Heated Door Mirrors.

Just a quick question, I have noticed that heated mirrors are seperate from heated rear window :o:o:o:o.

What do most people do? Do they switch the heated mirrors off or leave them on? :Blush2::Blush2::Blush2:

they're on a timer so it's not a problem to leave them on, although i find that if i leave them on all the time the filthy water drying out makes it impossible to see anything in the mirrors so i only use them to get rid of frost rather than droplets

According to my dealer you should switch the mirrors off ASAP as they tend to burn out ! Built in dealer money-maker ?

I pretty much turn them off when the frost/condensation build up is cleared with the hope of making the heater element last longer. Only time will tell...:D

Mine are constantly set to the on position, i find this less hassle than remembering to turn them on and off all the time
