DIS Reset...

Hi,

I've recently bought a 53 plate A4 Avant, didn't get no manuals with it.

A few weird things, one being that my DIS resets itself every trip - so I dont get a tru reading for Average MPG or Speed etc... anyway to amend this?

on the bottom of the wiper stalk is a button, a quick press will cycle it through 3 modes. Mode 1 as indicated by a 1 next the information resets itself after 2 hours of operation. Mode 2, again indicated by a 2 next to the information selected stores the information until you reset it by holding the button under the wiperstalk for 1 second or longer. A press again and the DIS display switches off.

I hope you understand that, if I had my manual with me I would explain as they did :D

so i take it you need a sat nav in the centre console for this,if not how do you get that
