Fitting leather seats A4 cabrio

Dear All

I have just bought some heated leather seats to replace the 2007 cloth ones, just wondered if the wiring loom for the heating is located under the current seats and for a bonus if the switch is there waiting to be connected in the centre console. Also is it better to disconnect the battery before fitting the seats.
