you will have to run new cables through to the head unit which envolves taking the head unit out removing the plastic door sills and lifting some of the carpet - there should be instructions on here to remove the door cards then pop a cable through the bit of plastic pipe then doun the center piller and under the plastic door sill then take off the plastic trim between the carpet and glovebox/steering wheel and stick the cables up to the back of the head unit id suggest using a peice of wire her as it can be incredably aquard- you will also have o check that your head unit can take a second set of speakers as some of the crapper vw ones just have outputs for the front to you can do this by scrolling through the menu that starts with bass and treble to fade and seeing if you can set it to the rear- or if fade even exists

you also need to remember that you will need spacers to fit the speakers correctly if you are not using standard audi speakers they sell for about 12 quid on ebay , or you can make them out of ply wood the diameter of the speaker you need to get is 165mm (6.5") i would suggest you get a set of components as the cheapest 3 way ones sound pants

hope this helps if you need any more help than pm me
