Hazard lights flashing whilst parked

I own an A4 1.8T Sport Cab. 54 plate. At work after I have parked and left the car for a short period of time (30 mins) the hazard warning lights flash for a couple of minutes . This sometimes repeats during the day however the alarm never goes off... This only seems to happen at my works carpark! Can anyone advise?

Your alarm is going off but the sounder is broken....

Thanks - thats what I thought, however, there is no indication from the door LEDs that should indicate the alarm has been activated, I read in the manual that after an alarm incident the door LEDS flash rapidly...

Go round the car open and close all the doors, bonnet and boot.
set the alarm, see if it goes off again.
A fault scan will show what is triggering the alarm.
