hi,
has enyone paid attention to the rpm on a 4-speed automatic when doing 90 km/h?
i have some doubts about my torque converter, because when doing 90km/h the rpm is 2500-2600, but when doing 100km/h the rpm is near 3000.
and sometimes when doing 50 or so km/h, the rpm starts to pendle between 1500-1550.
is it possible that my tc is going down?

NB sorry for bad english, havent been practiced for a while.:sad6:

At 100kmh (62mph), put it into manual and see if it's actually changed into 4th gear. This seems high to me. Mine used to surge slightly at lower speeds and this turned out to be the valve block. At least this can be changed without dropping the gearbox.

You really need a gearbox specialist to take a look though. A fluid change might be all it needs. Maybe the level is wrong.
