ipod plays podcasts at 2x speed via AMI

Hi all

First post on this forum. Just came out of a mk11 TT and in to an A4 Avant.

Excellent car.

I have one niggle I hope someone can help with though. Ipod touch plays everything perfectly except podcasts. Every time I choose a podcast via the AMI it plays it a twice the speed.

Yours confused.

Hello YS,

My iPod is a 'classic' 160gig effort as opposed to a touch, but podcasts on mine work fine. Not a like for like test so unsure how much this helps you.

Not very likely but check that the speed setting for podcasts isn't set at 2x - if you have the display showing time played and time remaining, the speed setting is underneath time remaining, make sure you are holding the iPod vertical.

Mike you were spot on. I think my children had been messing with the ipod.
All good now and I can enjoy podcasts at normal speed.
