Hi
I have seen numerous posts relating to low powered problems on audi tdi's,mine is a 2005 model 2.0tdi. Recently i had the egr cooler split which caused the vehicle to go into limp home mode. After it was replaced, the car developed a power drop and following a diagnostic two codes came up with one being the maf but this was replaced twice and still had the same problem so i ruled this out.
When the car is cold it runs a lot better, but once i clock up about 6 miles i develop the low power problem. i can push the accelerator pedal up and down but still the same speed.
I checked again with the code reader and have a code of 16683 Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached P0299.
The strange thing is when the car is in motion and i attach the diagnostic to clear the code the car appears to come back to life until the fault code reappears again.
I had a colleague help me clear the codes on a number of times whilst on the run and it helped significantly.
I can still hear the turbo spinning up ( but not mega loud), i have looked at some of the responses to

Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected or leaking
Charger Pressure Control defective
Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
where is the charge pressure control unit situated and could anyone put pictures on here of it or any other part they may think it is thats causing the problem.
When the code is cleared the power range problem is at lower revs and once it picks up it goes well.
any help much appreciated im pulling my hair out.
