Red flashing light on dash??

Hi,

currently have a audi a3 1.6 2001

where the service indicator light comes on i keep gettin the whole box light up red and theres a symbol with an explanation mark in a circle. this light tends to come on going round roundabouts, slowing down changing through gears or pulling out of junctions. when it comes on it flashes and beeps like the noise you get wen the petrol light comes on.

any one got any ideas wat this could be it looks serious but the cars still running atm?

sounds like the low brake fluid level indicator.

Would check the fluid level in the brake / clutch fluid chamber.

This would flash on if the level is low and you are braking / accelerating
