Hi

I replaced my beta radio in my mk4 golf with a new sony radio. Every time I pull the key out the radio resets losing presets, bluetooth settings etc. I assume I need to change the wiring configuration or something at the back to give constant power even when the ignition is off.

Does anyone know what to do? Also does anyone know where I would get a fascia pocket to fill the gap were the old cd player went?

Hi this is an easy fix... You will find 2 positive (+) cables on the wiring loom. One is red and the other is yellow, one is for constant power and one is for switched. All you need to do is swap these wire's around and it will solve the problem.

You should find that both the red & yellow cables have a spit in the middle that will allow you to swap them over.

And to fill the gap you need to buy a "Blanking Plate" for your car... You can get these from any car audio dealer or online
