Hi there,

I purchased a used Audi A4 2.0 Liters, petrol engine (not diesel), model 2003.

I want to ask about the right oil to use? Should I use synthetic? What exact brand and number?

And how many liters should I fill it with? And how frequent? Should I change the oil filter with every fill?

Many thanks for your replies :)

Use synthetic
Your Audi service/handbook should tell you the grade required and the amount to fill including a filter full.
Allways change filter when replenishing the whole oil capacity and try to follow manufacturers guidlines on frequency etc

Use VW Audi spec fully synthetic 0-30 and change every 6 months with filter if you do lots of short journeys. Castrol Edge and Shell Helix do above Audi spec oil or you can get from dealer.

Do you know if your car is on the fixed service schedule or the longlife service schedule?

If you look up your model here http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-861-car-engine-oils.aspx you should find a selection of suitable oils.
