Steering column slightly out of place.

Hi guys,

Since I have replaced new tyres on the front, I have noticed that my steering is not straight and when I drive it slighlty pulls towards the right.
So I have to drive in an awkard position. Should I get the tracking done?

That's worrying. Why should you need to get the tracking done if you've just had new tyres?

Were they replaced like for like, have they been fitted the right way round? Have you had the tracking done in the past?

Before you replaced them, were the fronts wearing evenly? If not, then yes, get the tracking done.

sounds to me like they simply haven't done the tracking and alignment correctly. Just take it back and explain the steering wheel needs aligning - shouldn't be an issue...

Definitely, presuming the OP paid for tracking to be done - he didn't mention it.:confused:

Basically, before the car was going everywhere, even going on small bumps made the car wobbly so it was pretty dangerous. The tracking was not done since I bought the car which I think it was 2 yrs ago, but since I replaced them with new tyres the car is okay apart from the steering column. They only did wheel balancing on the tyres.
