Hi,

I am looking for some new wheels for my 2002 audi a3.

I want a 17" wheel with ET38 offset.

I am planning to have 205/45/R17 tyres on them.

Any suggestions or anyone with a set that would suit please get in contact.

I currently have a mint set (9 months on car from new) no curbs ever 2006 edition audi TT 6 spokes.

(17" ET32 225/45/R17 pirelli p6000 tyres currently fitted)

Wheels and tyres were fitted at the same time so plenty of tread, rear tread almost as new.

I am not happy with the way the car handles.

After doing some research I found that my current wheels have more negative offset than standard which is why I am looking to change.

If someone has a mint set that would suit I would be willing to exchange or part exchange depening on condition.

I've got the set of original 17" alloys and Pirelli tyres (less than 50 miles) from my 2001 S3. All in excellent condition and tyres are almost new and only used to drive home from dealer the car was bought from. The wheels have since been upgraded to 18".

They are the same as the ones as in this pic:

They probably aren't what you are looking for but I thought i'd give it a go... let me know if you are interested and I will confirm the spec of the tyres

Thanks for the response but I am in a mind where I don't realy know if changing the wheels will sort the issue.

I think I am going to need to find some and try them for a day to see if it changes. I am reluctant to take big steps unless I know it will fix it.

If I do sort something out and find the car mush better I will get ack to you.

Thanks again,

Adam
