Brake lights on 1998 A4

Can anyone advise - My brake lights (all 3) come on when i switch my lights on, the brake lights work ok when the lights are off apart from the fact that the drivers side light comes on when i brake! - is it the ECU?

Sounds like a bad earth somewere. More than likely a corroded connector in the light cluster. Strip them down, clean all the connections;)

As above basically, a good clean and refit/repair should sort it all ,but certainly sounds like a poor earth

remove and check both bulbs.Sounds like incorrect bulb type,or you haven`t fitted the bulb correctly.
