2001 A3 shuddering when pulling up hill

Hello.

My A3 (1.6 AKL) has started shuddering/misfiring when pulling up a hill, it only does it with my foot hard down. The car drives fine on flat roads.

The past couple of months ive had a couple of random misfires..almost like my cars missed a beat, but then its been fine.

From what ive read it could be the Coil pack? can anyone confirm this?

Could also be a faulty spark plug or cable;)

changed the plugs today, and it seems to have gone away.

As far as i can tell they have not been changed since the 40,000 mile service and its got 84,000 on the clock now.
