Central Arm Rest Golf Mk4 2003

The catch on my central arm rest lid has broken which is a pain, as i usually drive with the arm rest up on short journeys, as its easier to go through the gears, which means i cant keep anything in it. :(

How do i remove the arm rest and does anyone know how much it would cost new to replace? or can you recommend a good breakers yard, mail order maybe.

You can get new catches for it from a dealer they cost no more than a couple of quid as I remember. Fairly simple to fit as well.

you dont need to remove the arm rest to do this iether if you look at the clip they are 2 legs left and right that hold it in if you push these together may need a screwdrvier or pliers ect they just pop out. regards tom
