Hi All
During the recent cold snap the battery on my Mk iv golf lost it's charge as I hadn't started it for a few days. I took out the battery, not as simple as I had expected, and charged it over night. I have refitted the battery, but now the ABS warning light and the Exclamation light to the right of it are on constantly. Does anyone one have any idea why this would be the case? I know very little about the workings of cars. Would the battery being disconnected and returned have any baring on the ABS? Would this simply be as a result of the cold snap? Or is it just a coincidence that both things happened at the same time? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
John
