6 Disc In Dash CD Changer

I just purchased a 2010 VW Passat and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to load my disc changer. Obviously I have the in dash unit and I have read my manual, however, it only gives instructions on the external CD changer. Would any of you folks be able to give me a quick tutorial on how to use this?

I have the Navigation system in my car if that matters. Here again I am still trying to learn how to use all of the features, but my manual is no help at all.

Are you sure its in the dash? I have the factory fitted multi changer and sat nav and my changer is in the glovebox with the pull down tab where the log book would normally be stored?

I have a six CD changer as part of an RCD510 (non-NAV) in the CC. I have not used it yet, but in trawling throught the RCD510 manual I am sure I saw ref.to loading the CD changer. I was looking for info.on using an SD card which I now have working fine. I probably won't even use the CD changer as its so quick & easy to rip CDs on a PC and sync.them to a SD or preferably an SDHC card.

The obvious answer is that it depends on which equipment you have.

If it is the RCD510 (CD slot at the top, SD card slot at the bottom), just stick a CD in the slot in the front, followed by 5 more when it has swallowed the first. It's fair to say that the manual for this unit isn't the best I've ever seen,

If you have something else, with an external changer, then locate it and follow the manual.

I will check in the glove box. I have literally only had this car for two days and the useless manual just led me to frustrations. Thank you all for the suggestions.
