New delivery delayed by the weather

I won't be getting my new A4 for another 10 days or so.... I'd been told I'd be in the car by the middle of next week, but they have had a delay in shipping due to bad weather.

Whilst one part of me is disappointed, another part is quite relieved.... I want to get the car polished up by the detailing chap that I've used before and he'd need to have reasonable-ish weather. On top of that, if the B8 is as bad in the snow as my B6 then we're best off still having my wife's Toyota for a bit longer; it seems to cope with the snow a lot better!

I felt sorry for the sales guy - he thanked me for being so understanding (I'd said 'not your fault, mate - it's just one of those things). I got the impression he'd made several such calls before mine and I'm guessing everyone else gave him a world of hurt. He's got it flagged as urgent so as soon as they are able they'll do it. A bit of a bummer but there we are.

I would wait until February 1st to get this weather out of the way !! Continue the delay if weather continues as it is

Wait longer and get it on the first of March..........will soon come round.

Delayed again... aparantly they have a bit of a backlog in Belgium, so it's still there waiting to get on the boat. Whilst there are 3 boats over the next 3 days it's still not guaranteed that my car will be on one of them :(

Just one of those things though. No-one is really enjoying this weather... Still possible for early next week I guess and at least the snow may have cleared up a bit by then. Completely lethal outside here again today...
