im wondering what kinda of improvement remapping my car would have..

is there good 60mph - 100 power difference - ie making it safer

i sometimes wish i had more acceleration to overtake lorrys quicker on the a5 road near shrewsbury (those that know this road will know why lol)

also any good reputable tuners for north wales / chester area? or any avaliable to come here to do it

also what else can i spend money on to improve power post remapping.. exhaust?

Had a Revo remap on my 2.0 tdi 140 4months ago really transformed my car about 185 bhp now also came with a plug switch in diagnostic port so you can revert to normal if you want at any time . By the way i am still getting same or slightly better mpg. well worth the expense.

I got mine done by Paramount Performance who are based in Slough

On their rolling road before my car was remapped it was chucking out 147 BHP (mine was a 140)

I went for the Performance and economy remap and after on the rolling road it was chucking out 175 BHP.

Well pleased with the results, as I could see what my car's BHP actually was before and after the remap on the rolling road.

and on the road it drives exaclty as smooth as it used to, but with more torque, smoother power delivery, better acceleration and more speed top end.

I had the APR tuning remap done at Awesome GTI in Irlam near Warrington/Manchester my TDI 140 now pushes out 186BHP, the mid range power for overtaking is superb and the car feels really smooth just as long as you don't accelerate too hard in 1st and 2nd as it spins the wheels very easily! Good value and service at Awesome.
