split turbo hose??

My 01 S3 has losts all its power and runs slow. The turbo spools up but sounds lots louder and is it is coming from in front of me instead of the side. Its sounds like a hair dryer now lol any ideas

Hey, I had same problem. had to buy a new pipe. Check the 2 hoses going from the turbo manifold to the dump valve. Ull need to take the engine cover off! I had a good hole in the smaller pipe right behind the jublee clip nearest the manifold and a split in the bigger hose. Kept looseing boost and even tryin to accelerate in a higher gear would make it fold.

But check all the hoses! The bigger hose believe it or not it cost me £56 odd from audi and it worthless :mad: But i like replacing things tac for tac cause it is possible to use another tipe of piping if you can find a good match....
