cost of repairing head gasket

Audi A3 1.6 se 2001

Car overheated due to waterpump leaking and now leaking water and misfiring and oil is a white colour and can smell oil in expansion tank

Any ideas on price to repair head gasket , new waterpump and cambelt..

also the mechanic said it will need a service.. I have been quoted £700.

hmm with parts id say 450 550 ish
but i know my blikes well so get it a bit cheap

Go on the EuroParts website, put your registration plate in and click on anything like 'Brake disks' and then once the page loads, on the top left hand corner it will have all your car details including engine code!
