Which should i use...?

Hi, I have an A4 1.9TDi with 150k, what is the best oil to use? Cheers.

this is a very difficult question to answer as there are two distinctly different types of engine that could be fitted to your car. its a choice of a rotary pump or pd engine, and both have very different requirements. if you could find your engine code that is located on a label in the spare wheel well, this would help.

Had a look in the spare wheel well but could not see a label with any number on. Its a 2001 model 130BHP if that helps.........? :confused:

that'll be a pd engine then. you need an oil specially for it thats vw505.01 spec for 10k service intervals, such as quantum, or 506.01, or 507 spec. if you have a search on here theres lots about it, and check out one of our sponsors, oilman, as he has some deals.
